Sue and Drew have owned and operated A Snug Harbour Inn since 2001. "Having stayed at the Inn as guests in 2000 we never dreamt that a year later we would move from downtown Toronto to this little piece of west coast paradise".
Sue has spent her professional life in the world of hospitality and as a trained chef oversees the daily operation and guest services. Drew, meanwhile, tries to play as many games of golf between his marketing and maintenance responsibilities. |

Built in 1997 the Inn consists of a main building that contains four ocean view rooms, the Great Room, main deck with hot tub and stairway to our private beach and helicopter pad 85 feet below.
A separate cottage a short distance from the main building and nestled into an old growth forest houses two more luxury rooms. The setting is spectacular and the surroundings provide a very quiet, very private, totally romantic atmosphere. |

The Great Room is a special focal point of A Snug Harbour Inn and is for the exclusive use of all our guests. A wall of windows is all that separates you from the awesome view of the rugged Pacific coastline.
It has a large custom-built harvest table where you will gather for breakfast every morning. An inviting conversation pit makes this a truly social room with its huge stone fireplace. A powerful set of tripod-mounted binoculars will bring whales, seals, eagles and fishing trawlers up close.
This room also has a light duty guest kitchen, TV, wireless hi-speed Internet connection and a telephone for those who wish. Small weddings can be held in this room, on the Main Deck or even on our helicopter pad on the private beach. |

Our oversize deck is where our guests can sit and relax after a day of activities. The large hot tub is kept at 102F day and night all year to enable our guests to capture the special British Columbia Super Natural moments.
Experience the blackness of a wilderness night, moving satellites, rare far away planes, the moon, and shooting stars. Sounds of the ocean complete an awesome encounter with west coast Vancouver Island. |

If adventure or romance is in your heart you can descend 85 feet down from our main deck to a small private and pristine pebbly beach. It has been left exactly as it was a thousand years ago. At low tide you can explore the tidal pools, see colourful starfish, crabs or watch the kelp forest as it sways with the waves.
It is the perfect spot to 'pop the question' or perform a small wedding ceremony in a surrounding that would be difficult to duplicate anywhere in the world.
It is not unusual for our guests to see whales, seals and eagles while sipping a glass of wine and watching the sun disappear in to the Pacific ocean. |
